Search tips
- For phrases use quotes: “global warming”
- For truncated searches use an asterisk: optic*
- To exclude a term use not: prisons NOT reports
- To group terms use brackets: (gaols OR prisons) NOT reports
You can also use the drop down arrow to limit your search to specific collections.
SLQ collections + eresources: the entire SLQ collection as well as access to millions of journal articles, and other content online content.
SLQ collections: all of the SLQ's collection, published and unpublished, in print and online, newspapers, music scores, artists books, manuscripts, video, photographs and more.
Information collections: a general collection of material in print and online - books, journals, newspapers, reference works, music scores, audio-visual, databases.
John Oxley Library: books, journals and newspapers focused on the history of Queensland. Also includes the Queensland and international maps collections.
Australian Library of Art: collections relating to the fine Arts in Australia and the history, art and craft of the book.
Open access collections: includes all of the material that you can access on the shelves on Levels 2, 3 and 4.
Digital resources: contains material that we have digitised and is available online. Includes digitised photographs, maps, artwork, manuscripts and illustrations from books.
Original materials: comprises unpublished material including personal papers, business records, church records, station records, photographs, works of art, digital stories and oral histories.
Additional eresources: journal articles from EBSCO databases. You will need to log in before you search these eresources.
