Description: Built 1874 in Guernesy. 213 gross tons. Figurehead of a woman, painted white and gold. Poop 30 foot long. When the ship was first launched it had a crew of twelve, later reduced to ten and later to eight. Chief trading was to the West Indies, Brazil and the Gulf of St. Lawrence. The ship had a fair turn of speed and held the record for the passage from Gaspe, Gulf of St. Lawrence to Rio de Janeiro in 34 days. In 1906 it was sunk in a collision off Great Yarmouth.
