James Thomas Marsh Bell (1839-1903) owned Umbercollie Station in the Goondiwindi District and purchased Camboon Station in 1874 in partnership with Colville Hyde. Camboon was used as a sheep and cattle station, as well as for breeding horses. In 1882 Bell and Hyde purchased Coochin Coochin, but in 1900 Hyde left the partnership.<br />
